Preservation Hall Jazz Band to Play The McKittrick Hotel, 7/7-13

The McKittrick Hotel is a unique nightlife and entertainment destination in New York City's Chelsea District. In addition to being the home of Sleep No More, the hotel has hosted a variety of special guest performers including the famed Preservation Hall Jazz Band, musician Jim James, country music sensation Lady Antebellum, French artists Soko, actor Neil Patrick Harris, performer Dita von Teese, actress Evan Rachel Wood, and DJ Junior Sanchez, among many others.

Thus we are thrilled to announce the unique residency Preservation Hall Jazz Band will be performing during the release week of their brand new album, That's It!, available July 9th.

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band show originally scheduled for Thursday, July 11 at Apollo Theater is being postponed due to a scheduling conflict. We are currently working on rescheduling the date with the venue. All tickets will be honored for the new date and refunds are available at point of purchase. That's It! was produced by My Morning Jacket's Jim James and PHJB's Ben Jaffe and recorded at The Preservation Hall. As these are all brand-new compositions, band membersBen Jaffe, Charlie Gabriel, Rickie Monie and Clint Maedgen wrote for the album and collaborated with Paul Williams, Dan Wilson and Chris Stapleton on several songs. And record fans should make note: The LP version of That's It! will be pressed on 180 gram vinyl and includes a full size poster.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band will also be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for two consecutive nights this July, first as the featured performers on July 8th and with select band members sitting in with The Roots for the entirety of the show on That's It!'s release day of July 9th.
