This month, Mont Blanc 52 celebrates its first anniversary at their new location, 344 West 52 Street. To mark this occasion and as a Thank You to their dedicated patrons, the popular theatre district restaurant is having an open house on Tuesday, June 5 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with complimentary wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres.
The cozy Swiss-European bistro serving a variety of traditional fare, has been a theatre staple since 1982 and popular with Broadway stars, shows (Wicked, Phantom and more) and theatre-goers alike.
On its reopening:
Chita Rivera declared "Mont Blanc has great food...wonderful, comfortable and impeccable service. A place of warmth and friendship. I love it!"
Patti LuPone raves "I cannot wait to taste the chocolate fondues. All's right with New York. Mont Blanc is open again!"
Lillias White reflects "One of my fondest memories from the night I won the Tony Award for The Life was the after-party at Mont Blanc. Since then I've been bringing my friends and loved ones there. The place has a good vibe. Great food and great service."
2017 Tony Award nominee Mary Beth Peil (Anastasia) says " The consistently delicious food is matched by the warm convivial welcoming atmosphere. So happy they're back!"
In 2015, Mont Blanc, then located on West 48 Street, began a court battle with a landlord who refused to adhere to the lease. Two years later, MONT BLANC 52 returned to a new location, better than ever with a stunning new décor.
MONT BLANC 52 is open seven days a week for lunch, brunch and dinner. For reservations call 212-582-9648. www.montblanc52.com
