Producer Paul Adams and Emerging Artists Theatre will present a second developmental workshop of the new musical, True Love. The musical, formerly called Mean: The Musical, received its first workshop in May as part of Emerging Artists' "New Work Series." Singer-Songwriter Alecia Beth Moore (P!nk) is currently not involved directly with the musical's development, but is aware of the project.

The musical tells the story of Jinx, an up-and-coming Hollywood rockstar/songwriter. When she embraces a "party lifestyle" despite the objections of her live-in boyfriend, Keane, he begins to question the importance of their relationship. What will happen when an innocent, young actress/waitress named Angelina comes to town and tempts Keane's heart? Will he stay true to Jinx, or will he find "new love" with Angelina?

The book is written by Kerri Kochanski (1,001 People That Suck, The Food Monologues), and features direction by Jonathan Warman (Now the Cats with Jewelled Claws at LaMama), musical direction by Luke Williams (Anything Goes - National Tour), and choreography by Liz Piccoli (Spandex, the Musical). The work, features songs from P!nk's catalogue, including some of her greatest hits.

The one-day only staged reading will take place on Saturday, October 10th at 2:00 PM at TADA! Theater, 15 West 28th Street in NYC.

The cast features: Billy Lewis, Jr. (Glee), Danielle Dorfman (Spring Awakening), Alex Tripp (Cuff Me: The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody), Luis Villabon (Reefer Madness), Shelby Ringdahl (Miss Missouri 2013), Loulu Luzi (The Last Five Years), Michael Fisher (Road House), Stephanie Noble (N Squared Dance Company), Zach Wachter (Spring Awakening), Apryl Higgins (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Megan Bussiere (Legally Blonde), Jesse Corbin (Hairspray), Karma Jenkins (Fancy Nancy), Haley Jones (Dames at Sea), Michael Calciano (Guys and Dolls), Drew Gardener (Legally Blonde) and Lucio Nieto (Dog Sees God).
