The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces the line-up for its April Gallery Crawl taking place Friday, April 24, 2015, from 5:30 to 10 p.m., in Pittsburgh's Downtown Cultural District. The Gallery Crawl is a free, all-ages showcase that features a wide variety of thought-provoking art exhibitions, live bands, DJs, dance, comedy, and more.

Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week, which highlights craft beer culture in the Pittsburgh region, celebrates the arts and the art of craft brewing during this month's Crawl. Eleven designated locations on the Crawl feature a local, regional, or national craft brewery, specially selected for that location, showcasing a selection of their beers. Brewery representatives are at each location to educate crawlers on the beers and to tell the story and history of their brewery.

Pittsburgh Craft Beer Week locations include: Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Braddock's, 709 Penn, Cabaret Theater (Backstage Bar), SPACE, Wood Street Galleries, Spring Night Market, Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre, Shaw Galleries, and Tonic.

Gallery Crawl events are free and open to the public. For more information and a map of the Gallery Crawl events, visit TrustArts.org/Crawl or call 412-456-6666.

The infamous, rarely seen 80s cult classic starring Tippi Hedren, her teen daughter Melanie Griffith, and more than 150 lions, tigers, and other untamed animals was an unprecedented-and wholly unpredictable-action-adventure film gone awry. The film was in production for 11 years, cost $17 million, and became a labor of love for Hedren and family, who had to mortgage their assets to finance the project. It is said that no animals were harmed in the making of Roar, but 70 members of the cast and crew were.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has overseen one of Pittsburgh's most historic transformations: turning a seedy red-light district into a magnet destination for arts lovers, residents, visitors, and business owners. Founded in 1984, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is the cultural and economic revitalization of a 14-block arts and entertainment/residential neighborhood called the Cultural District. The District is one of the country's largest land masses "curated" by a single nonprofit arts organization. A major catalytic force in the city, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust is a unique model of how public-private partnerships can reinvent a city with authenticity, innovation and creativity. Using the arts as an economic catalyst, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has holistically created a world-renowned Cultural District that is revitalizing the city, improving the regional economy and enhancing Pittsburgh's quality of life. Thanks to the support of foundations, corporations, government agencies and thousands of private citizens, the Cultural Trust stands as a national model of urban redevelopment through the arts.
