Rebecca Pidgeon, Alicia Silverstone and Mary Steenburgen will headline David Mamet's Boston Marriage, which will run from February 8th through March 12th at L.A.'s Geffen Playhouse.

Mamet will also direct the play. "Set at the turn of the century, Mamet takes us inside a Boston Marriage, a euphemism commonly used for two women living together without apparent male companionship or support. What ensues is a perfect blend of an old-fashioned drawing room comedy infused with the fast, furious and side-splitting dialogue that Mamet always delivers," according to the theatre's website. Pidgeon and Steenburgen will play Claire and Anna, whose relationship comprises the Boston marriage, while Silverstone will be seen as the maid who intermittently breaks up the conversation of the women.

Pidgeon, Felicity Huffman and Mary McCann were also featured in the American Repertory Theatre production of Boston Marriage, while Kate Burton, Martha Plimpton Arden Myrin as Catherine starred in the Public Theater staging and Zoe Wanamaker, Anna Chancellor, Lyndsey Marshal performed in the show at the Donmar Warehouse.

Pidgeon, the wife of Mamet, appeared in the play's production at the American Repertory Theatre; her other theatre credits include The Old Neighborhood, Oleanna, Dangerous Corner (all by Mamet) and films such as State and Main, Heist, Edmond and Shopgirl. Steenburgen was seen on Broadway in Candida, off-Broadway in The Beginning of August and in an LA production of Marvin's Room; her film and TV credits include Time After Time, Sunshine State, Elf and Melvin and Howard, for which she received an Oscar nomination. Silverstone has acted on Broadway in The Graduate. Best known as a film star, her screen credits include Clueless, Batman & Robin, The Crush, Excess Baggage and more.
