Piazza Sempione May Be Sold

WWD has reported that CEO of Piazza Sempione, Enrico Morra, has confirmed that the company is in negotiations with a potential investor to sell its assests.  

Since their financial crisis in 2011, Piazza Sempione has been controlled by Luxemburg-based holding company, owned by L Capital, the private equity arm of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.  Founders Marisa Guerrizio, husband Roberto Monti and Morra all invested in the company in 2009 and still have their shares.
