Photos and Video: Broadway's KINKY BOOTS Welcomes National Tour Star Kyle Taylor Parker as 'Lola' Tonight

Kyle Taylor Parker, who has been starring as 'Lola' in the National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots, steps into the role on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for three months, taking over for Tony Award-winner Billy Porter. Kyle Taylor Parker made his Broadway debut as an 'Angel' in the original company of Kinky Boots and has been playing the role of 'Lola' in the First National Touring Production since it opened to rave reviews in Las Vegas in September 2014. KINKY BOOTS tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family's struggling business. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola and together, the unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. The winner of six 2013 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots features a Tony Award-winning score by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell.
