The Off-Broadway revival of the musical revue "On Second Avenue" starring Mike Burstyn, is the Spring Mainstage production of the venerable Folksbiene Yiddish Theatre, now in its historic 90th consecutive season. A musical travelogue of 2nd Avenue's great heyday as the Yiddish rialto, "On Second Avenue" showcases the songs of several of the great Yiddish composers as well as excerpts from landmark shows.

Playing a six-week limited engagement "On Second Avenue" began on February 20, opened February 27 and plays through April 10 at the JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue. Directed by Bryna Wasserman, with music direction by Zalmen Mlotek, the show's book is in English, while most of its songs are performed in their original Yiddish with English supertitles.

Tickets are available by calling (800) 9-YIDDISH or online at www.folksbiene.org
