Photo Preview: Night of the Hunter in LA

The Willows Theatre Company will present the world premiere production of the musical thriller, The Night of the Hunter, September 24 through October 24, 2004 at the Willows Theatre, 1975 Diamond Boulevard, Concord, CA. Preview performances begin September 20. Tickets $20-35.

This new musical is based on the best-selling novel by Davis Grubb, which spawned the1955 film classic starring Robert Mitchum and Shelley Winters. Music is by Claibe Richardson (The Grass Harp), with book and lyrics by Stephen Cole (After the Fall). Directed by John Bowab. One part thriller, one part religious allegory, and two parts heart-warming coming-of-age story, The Night of the Hunter continues the Willows Theatre's commitment to new musicals.
