Photo Flash: York Gala Celebrates The 2009 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre

On November 23rd 2009 The York Theatre Company held a gala celebrating The 2009 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre to Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick. The event was held at the Racquet and Tennis Club. 

The concert was directed by Terry Berliner with music direction by Mark Janas. Featured performers and speakers for the evening (included in these photos) are: Christine Pedi (Newsical), Jason Graae (A Grand Night for SInging), Jim Brochu (Zero Hour), Judy Kuhn (Chess; She Loves Me), Marc Kudisch (The Apple Tree; 9 to 5), Josh Grisetti (Enter Laughing, The Musical), Barbara Cook, The Savannah College of Art and Design Honeybees and Edwin Cahill (Lovemusik).
