Photo Flash: World Premiere of ALEXANDRIA at IRT Theater

Alexandria by Vince Gatton, started previews at IRT Theater last night Sunday 8/5. See photos from the production below!

Alexandria runs through August 18 at IRT Theater. Gatton's play was the winner of Sanguine Theatre Company's Project Playwright Festival this January out of over 400 submissions.

As previously announced, the production features James Foster, Jr., Stephen Heskett, Jonathan Melo, Shauna Miles, and Kristen Vaughan. The design team includes Tyler M. Perry (set and lighting), Amanda Jenks (costume and makeup), and Jackson Williams (sound). Jordana Williams directs.

In Alexandria, a small-town hangout has brought together an unlikely social circle. When the outside world threatens their fragile ecosystem, old battle lines are re-drawn. The library won't stay quiet for long.
