On January 8th, internationally acclaimed playwright Tom Stoppard discussed his The Coast of Utopia trilogy with the Drama Desk at Tony's DiNapoli Restaurant in New York City.
Shipwreck, the second part of The Coast of Utopia, is currently playing at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theatre. Salvage, the third installment, opens on February 18th. On three Saturdays (February 24, March 3 and March 10), theatergoers will be able to see all three - Voyage, Shipwreck and Salvage - in one-day marathons beginning at 11am.
Stoppard's other plays include the current London hit Rock 'N' Roll, as well as Arcadia, The Real Thing, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Jumpers, The Real Inspector Hound, Travesties, and many more. His film work includes the Oscar-winning screenplay of Shakespeare in Love.
