Photo Flash: The Rockettes Bring Joy to 6th Avenue with 'Christmas in August' Event

Today, August 17, 2017 at Radio City Music Hall. The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes kicked off the holiday season with its annual Christmas In August event in celebration of the 2017 production. BroadwayWorld has photos below!

The Rockettes stopped traffic on 6th avenue in front of the marquee and performed the fan-favorite number "New York at Christmas" on a double decker Gray Line CitySightseeing bus. The Rockettes also announced the "Gift of Joy" program, a season-long giving initiative to spread the joy this holiday season.

The Rockettes are asking fans to submit the stories of their family, friends or community members who deserve extra cheer this season to rockettes@msg.com. The Rockettes may feature some of the stories or may meet some of these deserving people during their hometown visits in September.
