Photo Flash: The Power Plant Debuts Theme for Power Ball XVIII from Max Mara

Toronto, ON -- The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery yesterday announced Max Mara as Presenting Sponsor of Power Ball for the second year in a row, also unveiling the theme of Toronto's most coveted art party: Pleasure Principle. Scroll down for photos!

The 18th annual event, taking place June 2, 2016, will transform The Power Plant into an immersive contemporary art experience fusing music, ambiance, food, fashion and society. Guests will be invited to be guided by their pleasure as they walk from room to room, each art-filled space offering an atmosphere that will invoke different kinds of gratification.

Gaëtane Verna, Director of The Power Plant, thanked sponsors, donors and partners for their continued support in raising vital funds for the gallery; allowing the opportunity to present the best in contemporary art through free exhibitions, public programs and events throughout the year.

Guests such as Jay Strut, Catherine Nugent, Evanka Osmak, Jed Tallo, Truc Nguyen, Krystal and Justin Lunardo and Shinan Govani celebrated at Max Mara's Bloor Street location, over Italian hors d'oeuvres by Daniel et Daniel, while New York Virtuosi trio played contemporary strings.
