Photo Flash: The Grinch Visits New York Knicks Game at Madison Square Garden

The Grinch, starring in Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, visited MSG in celebration of the production that performs at The Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 13-December 30. The Grinch showed off his basketball moves, met fans and players, and promoted the show at Sunday's Knicks game against the Phoenix Suns. The Grinch tried to "steal" the MSG spotlight from Knicks players Tyson Chandler, J.R. Smith, Ronnie Brewer, James White, Chris Copeland and Kurt Thomas. Check out photos from his appearance below!

The 2012 production is directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard based on the original choreography by John DeLuca and originally created by three-time Tony Award winning director Jack O'Brien.

The Grinch, star of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, showed up courtside at the Knicks game and poses with Chris Copeland. The mean and scheming Grinch was there to hear Abigail Shapiro, who plays Cindy-Lou Who, sing the national anthem and promote the show.
