The Grinch, starring in Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical, visited MSG in celebration of the production that performs at The Theater at Madison Square Garden from December 13-December 30. The Grinch showed off his basketball moves, met fans and players, and promoted the show at Sunday's Knicks game against the Phoenix Suns. The Grinch tried to "steal" the MSG spotlight from Knicks players Tyson Chandler, J.R. Smith, Ronnie Brewer, James White, Chris Copeland and Kurt Thomas. Check out photos from his appearance below!

elebrate the holidays with this heart-warming classic tale that will entertain the whole family as the show makes its triumphant return to New York City. Featuring the hit songs "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "Welcome Christmas" from the original animated series, The Grinch discovers the true meaning of Christmas in this adored holiday classic. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is "two sizes too small," plans to steal Christmas away from the holiday-spirited Whos. The Grinch soon realizes, however, there's more to Christmas than he bargained for.

Embraced by generation after generation, Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical will feature magnificent sets specially designed for The Theater at Madison Square Garden and costumes inspired by Dr. Seuss' original illustrations, while the Music and Book of Mel Marvin and Timothy Mason breathe new life into this timeless narrative. The Theater at Madison Square Garden has become a top venue for spreading holiday cheer, presenting some of the season's most sought after family productions including Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan, A Christmas Carol, and Wintuk by Cirque du Soleil.

The 2012 production is directed by Matt August and choreographed by Bob Richard based on the original choreography by John DeLuca and originally created by three-time Tony Award winning director Jack O'Brien.
