TRUFFLES: Jazz, Murder and Dinner Theater offers up a murder mystery musical comedy with all original script and music, topped off with a decadent three-course dinner courtesy of Swing 46: Jazz & Supper Club and Urbani Truffles (the official Truffle sponsor of the show- and most prestigious truffle brand in the world.)
The show has entertained over 9,000 guests and counting at the new "whodunnit?!" and will be opening in multiple cities for 2018 and will begin a licensing division as the show grows in popularity.
In Italy's world-renowned dining establishment, Ciacco's, the Donati family prepares to auction their legendary two-pound truffle- and YOU are cordially invited to the Gala. But watch out! Shortly after the festivities begin, the evening suddenly grinds to a halt when the truffle goes missing and the someone turns up dead, and you are now locked in the restaurant to figure out who stole the truffle and who the murderer is! Keep your eyes open and your mouths full while you piece together the clues to figure out "whodunnit?!" at the new immersive murder mystery show that is taking over NYC!
TRUFFLES is the brainchild of creator and producer Sonia Carrion (CEO) and Hal Galardi (CSO) of The Girl Behind the Curtain. The book is by T. Adamson (HERE's Dorothy B. Williams Theatre, Dixon Place, The Brick, Walker Space, Irondale Arts Ensemble, Roulette, Bowery Arts + Science) with an original jazz/pop libretto by songwriters Jenni Lark & Hal Galardi. The production is directed by editing playwright and director Billy Manton. Rounding out the production team are Brandon Clayton (Associate Producer), Carrie Sullivan (Box Office and Marketing Manager), Mikayla Petrilla (Social Media Manager) and Stephen Pyo (Photographer/Videographer).
Featured in the cast are Ron Barba and Tony Chiofalo as Dante Donati- The Truffle King, Addison Garner and Cassie Nadeau as Olga Donati- The Wife, Mikayla Petrilla and Kayla Catan as Isabella Donati- The Daughter, Cem Uyanik, CJ Seever and Ian Federgreen as Virgil Donati- The Brother, Ed Rosini and Alex Armesto as Carlo- The Waiter, Spencer Wolfe and Ed Rosini as Chef Bruno- The Head Chef, and Victoria Bost and Annie Caltrider as Beatrice- The Hostess.
