On Tuesday, May 7th, the TJ Martell Foundation hosted the Women of Influence Awards at Riverpark in New York. Pictured below are the honorees, host and performers! The sold-out event honored women in business who continue to make a difference and helped raise funds for the foundation which supports innovative medical research focused on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
NBC's Jenna Wolfe was the host of this year's Women of Influence Awards at Riverpark, a Tom Colicchio restaurant in New York City. Singer/songwriter Elle Varner performed at the awards celebration and luncheon honoring five outstanding women who have achieved tremendous goals in business while balancing work, home and health.
The foundation honored: Marcie Allen, President, MAC Presents / Director, Beach 119 (Documentary); Joann Camuti, Director, Sales Promotions and Community Relations, American Airlines; Margaret I. Cuomo, M.D. Author of A World Without Cancer: The Making of a New Cure and the Real Promise of Prevention; Liz Smith, famed Journalist, Columnist and Co-Founder of wowOwow.com and Lori Stokes, ABC Eyewitness News Anchor.
