More than 15 years ago, Sam and Susan weathered a storm; A storm that changed their lives forever. Susan had cancer. The word rang in Sam's ear like an orchestra playing the music of his life -- it was what he eventually called THE ACTUAL DANCE. What came from this was a riveting play about a man's most powerful expression of love for the woman he loves.
Today, THE ACTUAL DANCE is a powerful, award-winning play currently enjoying a National Tour after an acclaimed run on Theater Row. It also has a happy ending ... Susan and Sam are still enjoying life together and THE ACTUAL DANCE has become more than a play -- it is a parable of the ultimate expression of love.
This past weekend, Sam and Susan gathered together many of the individuals that helped make the production possible for a special performance at the Treehouse Theater in honor of the start of their 50th year together. Scroll down for photos from last weekend's event!
