On Thursday, May 3, LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater, in collaboration with Tamasha: A Festival @ Hypokrit Theatre, held an exclusive event at LCT3's Claire Tow Theater to raise visibility for the South Asian theater community.

The event featured a panel moderated by Natasha Sinha (Associate Director of LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater) and Arpita Mukherjee (Artistic Director of Hypokrit Theatre Company), about the current state of American theater and how artists and stories from the South Asian diaspora fit into that.

The panelists included Ayad Akhtar (JUNK, DISGRACED), Sanjit De Silva (AN ORDINARY MUSLIM, War Horse), Madhuri Shekar (QUEEN), and Aneesh Sheth (MASCULINITY MAX).
