Robin De Jesus and the cast of Fat Girls attended its world premiere special screening at the Cantor Film Center in New York City on Tuesday, October 30 at 7PM at East 8tr Street, Theatre 1. In appearance were cast members Joe Flaten, Ash Christian (also Director), Ashley Fink and Evan Miller.
Fat Girls is about Rodney, a gay theater-obsessed Texan high school senior who has his heart set on Broadway stardom and an eye out for love.
A new queer movie presented by here! Films and the NYU LGBT Office, Fat Girls has garnered acclaim at numerous festivals, including the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.Fat Girls will be released in theatres nationwide the week following this premiere.
