"Guiding Light"'s Ricky Paull Goldin visited the pious pop stars of Altar Boyz.

Goldin plays FBI Agent Gus Aitoro on the show; his performance netted him an Emmy Award nomination in 2003. Previously, Goldin was featured on "Another World" and "The Young and the Restless," while he appeared on Broadway in the revival of Grease. He has been seen off-Broadway in The Pirates of Penzance, Welcome to My Life and others. Film credits include Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Mirror, Mirror and Lambada.

"Altar Boyz is the acclaimed musical comedy spoof of a fictional Christian pop group (with one nice Jewish boy), questioning their faith – in each other! When their soul-saving tour is interrupted by soul-wrenching secrets, hilarity ensues, as the Boyz learn where its fate holding them together, or just extra firm hair gel," according to press notes. Featured in the cast are Scott Porter as Matthew; Danny Calvert as Mark; James Royce Edwards as Luke; Nick Sanchez as Juan; and Dennis Moench as Abraham (the Jewish Altar Boy).

Altar Boyz is directed by Stafford Arima and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, with music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker with book by Kevin Del Aguila, based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport.
