Renowned entertainer & emcee, Richard Skipper, is on a whirlwind June with events every week culminating in a joyous PRIDE event presented by Russ Woolley at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street on Sunday, June 24 @ 1 PM.
His WOW Month began with his inclusion in the inauguration of artist Khoi Nguyen's project celebrating Carol Channing. A fingerprint painting leaving spots to be filled in by Ms. Channing's fans, colleagues, and friends. Then, Skipper and fellow cabaret artist, Richard Holbrook, presented a heartfelt tribute to Richard Barclay at the Don't Tell Mama. Skipper then appeared at American Popular Song Society for a celebration of Cole Porter where he introduced talented young singer, Hannah Peterson.
Later, he was emcee for Tony Night at The Palm West Restaurant with Tony Award winner Christian Hoff. He ran the red carpet at the premiere of Half Time at the Papermill Playhouse. Skipper will also serve as a guest speaker on July 27 at Broadway's Town Hall. And he's not finished yet!
