Social media savvy rescue dog Tinkerbelle the Dog (@TinkerbelleTheDog) visited the cast of An American in Paris on Broadway this past weekend. Scroll down for some adorable photos!
Tinkerbelle is a big fan of the Broadway stage, and dreams of being in a show herself one day. After a brief encounter on Instagram and Twitter with Miss Leanne Cope, Tinkerbelle the dog had been dreaming of meeting her in person! Low and behold, Tinkerbelle not only got to meet Leanne, but she also got acquainted with stars Robert Fairchild, Jill Paice, Brandon Uranowitz, Victor J. Wisehart and Laura Feig.
An American in Paris, which opened April 12, 205, at the Palace Theatre, just celebrated its 100th performance. The musical is directed and choreographed by Christopher Wheeldon. Inspired by the Academy-Award winning film, An American in Paris brings this classic tale to Broadway for the first time with music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by Tony nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Craig Lucas.
The score of An American in Paris includes the songs "I Got Rhythm," "Liza," "'S Wonderful," "But Not For Me," "I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise," and orchestral music including "Concerto in F," "Second Prelude," "Second Rhapsody/Cuban Overture" and "An American In Paris."
An American In Paris is the romantic story of a young American soldier, a beautiful French girl and an indomitable European city, each yearning for a new beginning in the aftermath of war.
