Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger, stars of the new hit Off-Broadway musical ROOMS a rock romance, rang the NASDAQ closing bell in Times Square on Wednesday, April 29th. Introduced by NASDAQ Vice President David Wicks, Leslie and Doug addressed market-followers from around the world via satellite feed and the ceremony was broadcast live on the NASDAQ jumbotron looming over Times Square at Broadway & 43rd Street.

ROOMS a rock romance recently opened to rave reviews at New World Stages. ("Ms. Kritzer is funny and fabulous! Mr. Kreeger is solid and strong. They mesh perfectly!" -- The New York Times; "We have a new contender for Best Musical!" -- Broadway World.) The show has been nominated for three 2009 Outer Critics Circle Awards including Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical.

ROOMS a rock romance has music and lyrics by Paul Scott Goodman and book by Goodman and Miriam Gordon, and is directed by Scott Schwartz.

ROOMS a rock romance begins in 1970s Glasgow where Monica, an ambitious singer/songwriter meets Ian, a reclusive rocker. The two quickly become entangled creatively and romantically. Their music takes them first to London and ultimately to New York City, where they discover the vibrant new music scene and create an intimate partnership, their love deepening while their personalities drive them apart. A five-piece band accompanies these two characters as they search for the balance between ambition and happiness.

ROOMS a rock romance plays Monday, Wednesday through Friday evenings at 8p.m., Saturdays at 2p.m. and 8p.m., and Sundays at 3p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available through Telecharge.com 212-239-6200.
