The BWS is a scholarship training program awarded to qualified adult artists. Led by some of New York's finest Broadway, Film and Television artists working today. Participants of the BWS are selected from a pool of local and international applicants, who audition in order to be accepted into the program. The program gathered artists committed to inspiring others while working together to create endless possibilities. Whether their focus was dancing, acting, singing, composing, writing, or music, this program created an ENSEMBLE of artists that are ready to make an impact.
The Beyond Workshop Series was developed and guided by Luis Salgado, with fellow faculty members Ian Hersey (Public Theatre), Leon Ingulsrud (S.I.T.I Company) and William Wade. Dance teachers included Valeria Cossu, Matthew Steffens, and Chet Walker led a special master class in Fosse and life as a performer.
"I simply could not be prouder of this year's program. It truly served as a laboratory for humanity, kindness and community. What we learned was way beyond what we could ever imagined." says Salgado.
