Photo Flash: Quvenzhane Wallis Beams in New ANNIE Movie Poster

Sony Pictures just revealed a new poster for its upcoming revamp of the musical ANNIE, which hits theaters on December 19 and stars Jamie Foxx, Quvenzhané Wallis, Rose Byrne, Bobby Cannavale, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, David Zayas and Cameron Diaz. Scroll down for a look at the poster!

ANNIE is directed by Will Gluck from a script by Emma Thompson and Aline Brosh McKenna. The film is produced by Will Smith and Jay Z, who also serves as music supervisor.

This version of ANNIE is an all-new, modern-day adaptation of the stage musical, set in contemporary New York City, featuring some departures from the stage musical and previous film adaptations. The original stage musical ANNIE was based on Harold Gray's 1924 comic strip LITTLE ORPHAN ANNIE and was directed by Martin Charnin, featuring music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Charnin and a book by Thomas Meehan. Subsequently, the musical has been revived on Broadway twice, with the most recent revival playing at the Palace Theatre, directed by James Lapine and starring Lilla Crawford in the title role.
