Opening night well-wishers, including Tony Award winner Laura Benanti (LuPone's co-star in Gypsy and Women on the Verge...), Bridget Everett ("Rock Bottom"), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (LuPone's co-star in Women on the Verge...) director of LuPone's 54 Below engagement Scott Wittman (Tony Award winning co-lyricist of Hairspray, Catch Me If You Can), and 54 Below proprietors Richard Frankel and Tom Viertel (who also produced Gypsy with LuPone), visited with LuPone backstage following the performance.
