Photo Flash: Naomi Campbell, Marc Jacobs, Lilli Cooper and More Feature in A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS

A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS, the holiday musical revue from the creative team behind the hit musicals Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical and An Evening With Phyllis Hyman, returned to New York City this weekend (performed Saturday, December 15th at 8:00 pm and Sunday December 16th at 2:00 pm) at The Actor's Temple Theatre (339 West 47th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Actress / Supermodel Naomi Campbell, fashion designer Marc Jacobs, celebrity photographer Steven Meisel, and beloved Broadway comedienne Julie Halston (Tootsie), Lilli Cooper (SpongeBob Squarepants, Spring Awakening), John Arthur Greene (Tootsie, Matilda, "American Idol"), and Katerina Papacostas (Tootsie) attended the show this weekend - Halston even won the "Best Dancer Award" during the "Groovy Wonderland Dance Line" at Sunday's matinee (see video).

The perfect gift for the lovers of classic Gospel, R&B and Soul, A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS transports the audience back to the Disco Era. Set during a taping of a special holiday-themed episode of the fictional music-dance television program "Groovy Wonderland" (inspired by the hit show "Soul Train"),A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS features favorite songs from beloved artists and groups such as The Temptations, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, The Supremes and The Jackson 5.

A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS premiered at The Actor's Temple Theatre in December 2017.

The cast for A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS features: Anthony Wayne (Mighty Real ..., A Chorus Line at City Center, Tootsie, Once on This Island, Pippin, Anything Goes, Priscilla ...), Burgandy Williams ("X Factor" UK 2018), Brian Davis, Wanjiru " Shiro" Kihagi, Lady Pepper, and Missa Thompson (all seen in the show's 2017 premiere production), as well as new cast members Trish Douglas, Yonathan Elias, Brandon Looney,Ryan Love, and Rahmel McDade (Mighty Real ...).

The Music Director is Alonzo Harris. A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS features choreography by Hollie E. Wright ("Hot Feet," "Amazing Grace") and Christopher Figaro Jackson (Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre).
