Meet the Cast and Creative Team of The York Theatre Company's Musicals in Mufti presentation of the first New York revival and world premiere of a new re-imagined version of the 1992 musical, My Favorite Year! The show features book by Joseph Dougherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, and music by Stephen Flaherty, based on the motion picture My Favorite Year, courtesy of Turner Entertainment Co., with story by Dennis Palumbo and screenplay by Norman Steinberg and Dennis Palumbo.
Directed by Dan Knechtges, and with music direction by David Holcenberg, the 14-member cast features Tony® Award-nominee Douglas Sills as Alan Swann, Adam Chanler-Berat as Benjy Stone, Rose Hemingway as K.C. Downing, Richard Kind as King Kaiser, Leslie Kritzer as Alice Miller, and Aaron Galligan-Stierle, with Bree Branker, Joy Hermalyn, Francis Jue, Daniel Marcus, Barbara Marineau, Christine Pedi, Emily Walton, and Thom Sesma who has replaced the previously announced Nick Wyman.
The limited engagement of My Favorite Year will play 5 performances only December 5-7, 2014 at The York Theatre Company's home at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
