Medicine Show Theatre has opened Caligula, Albert Camus's gorgeous, provocative classic in the first production in New York City in more than a decade. It is a tour de force of perverse humor with splashes of vulgarity, vaudevillian tendencies and, the central figure himself: Caligula; a despot gaining power of the greatest nation on earth and wreaking absolute havoc! Hmmmm, that's sounds familiar.
