Marymount Manhattan College hosted its Annual Scholarship Benefit at the Mandarin Oriental on Thursday, May 5, and raised over $650 thousand for student scholarships. This year the benefit honoredPaul Polizzotto, Founder and President of CBS EcoMedia, who has spent his life effecting socially responsible change through innovative business practices.
This night was hosted by CBS News' Senior National Correspondent Anthony Mason and included a star-studded lineup of performances, including Jenna Ushkowitz '07 from the three-time Emmy-nominated FOX television series Glee; Vivian Reed, legendary award-winning performer best known for her work on the Broadway stage; renowned pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor William Foster McDaniel, and Chris Pinnella '07, classical crossover vocalist with numerous professional credits from National Tours, off-Broadway and regional theatre to recordings and concert appearances with Trans-Siberian Orchestra.
