After 25 years of selling out concert halls and arenas throughout Europe, the supergroup ManDoki Soulmates are thrilled to make their US debut, performing their "Wings of Freedom" Concert at NYC's Beacon Theatre (2124 Broadway, New York, NY) on January 29, 2018 at 8 pm. Hungarian/German producer and drummer Leslie Mandoki leads the group of what he calls "musical rebels and idealistic freethinkers" as a way of promoting freedom and tolerance all over the world through music.
Proceeds from the "Wings of Freedom" Concert will go to MusiCares, a nonprofit that provides support and community services to musicians in need of medical, personal & financial assistance.
ManDoki Soulmates include the following rock and jazz-rock legends: Bobby Kimball (Toto), John Helliwell (Supertramp), Mark Hart (Supertramp & Crowded House) and Chris Thompson (Manfred Mann's Earth Band), Nick van Eede (Cutting Crew), Cory Henry, Randy Becker, Bill Evans, Till Brönner & Klaus Doldinger.
With Mandoki leading from the stage, the supergroup gives an avalanche of jaw-dropping performances of well-known classic rock hits, such as Toto's "Rosanna" and Cutting Crew's "I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight," combining modern jazz influences and fresh interpretations of these iconic songs.
This is definitely a show for all generations to enjoy!
