Photo Flash: MARY POPPINS' Ashley Brown and Richard Sherman Kick Off D23 Expo

MARY POPPINS star Ashley Brown took to Instagram today to post photos from today's D23 Expo kick-off, where she got to catch up with Broadway legend Richard Sherman. Scroll down for shots of the pair onstage!

Brown wrote: "Today was amazing singing #akissgoodnight with the one and only Richard Sherman at the Legends Ceremony to kick off #D23Expo!!! #johnnydepp #georgelucas to name a few legends from today! Such an honor!"

As part of the Expo, Disney Theatrical Productions will be presenting Disney on Broadway's "THE ORIGINALS" in concert at the Anaheim Convention Center in two shows tomorrow, August 15th in Stage 23. Brown, along TARZAN's Josh Strickland and ALADDIN's James Monroe Iglehart, is slated to perform.

Brown originated the title role in MARY POPPINS on Broadway. She also starred as Mary Poppins in the national tour of the musical. Her other stage credits include Broadway's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ON THE RECORD on tour, OKLAHOMA and SHOW BOAT at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and more.

Sherman wrote the music & lyrics for Broadway's MARY POPPINS, CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, OVER HERE! and more.
