Photo Flash: Liza Minnelli Performs for Las Vegas 'Gypsies'

From May 25th through May 27th, award-winning actress and singer Liza Minnelli is playing, as part of Luxor's Spotlight Series, a special Memorial Day weekend engagement featuring another exclusive "Gypsy" performance for her fellow performers.
In the show, according to press notes. "Minnelli will delight Las Vegas entertainers with a tribute to Kay Thompson and her well-known hits such as 'Cabaret,' 'Theme From New York, New York,' 'Some People' and much more during her private 'Gypsy' performance. Following three exciting performances open to the general public, Minnelli will once again bring her favored tradition from the days of old Vegas to the Luxor stage. Made popular by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr., 'Gypsy' shows were held only for fellow performers, affectionately known as 'gypsies,' in the early morning hours. Complimentary tickets for this show are reserved solely for Las Vegas entertainers and their crew."
The Luxor Theater is located at Luxor Hotel & Casino (3900 Las Vegas Boulevard South) in Las Vegas, NV. Public tickets are not available for the "Gypsy" performance. Visit www.luxor.com for more on the Luxor.
