New York, June 14, 2013--"200 Cartas," a bilingual romantic comedy film, written and directed by Bruno Irizarry ("The Rum Diary," "Shut Up And Do It!"), which stars Tony winner Lin-Manuel Miranda and 1993 Miss Universe Dayanara Torres, held its world premiere at United Palace of Cultural Arts in Washington Heights on Wednesday night.
AMC Theatres in Times Square and the Bronx are screening the film starting today.
In "200 Cartas," Miranda's character, Raul, travels to Puerto Rico for the first time, and writes 200 letters trying to find the woman of his dreams.
Miranda and Torres co-star with Mexican telenovela superstar Jaime Camil and Puerto Rican entertainment icon Iris Chacón.
