Photo Flash: Legally Blonde San Francisco Debut

Legally Blonde: The Musical is currently playing its Pre-Broadway World Premiere at San Francisco's Golden Gate Theatre, January 23 - February 24, 2007.

Legally Blonde, based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the hit MGM film, stars Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods. Joining her are Christian Borle as Emmett, Orfeh as Paulette, Richard H. Blake as Warner, Kate Shindle as Vivienne, Nikki Snelson as Brooke and Michael Rupert as Professor Callahan. At the helm of the creative team of Legally Blonde is Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, who makes his Broadway directorial debut and will also choreograph. Music and lyrics are by both Laurence O'Keefe and Nell Benjamin, and the book is by Heather Hach. James Sampliner serves as music director.

San Francisco tickets ($35-$90) can be purchased by calling 415-512-7770 or online at www.shnsf.com. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the Orpheum Theatre Box Office, 1192 Market Street at 8th, (Mon - Sat, 10AM – 6PM).

Legally Blonde is scheduled to begin Broadway performances at the Palace Theatre beginning April 3, opening April 29.
