The celebrated musical Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella--originally written for television in 1957 by the legendary musical theatre duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II--makes its Broadway debut with this new production, featuring music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a new book by four-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane, based on the original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. Cinderella is directed by Mark Brokaw. The musical has choreography by Josh Rhodes, and music adaptation, supervision and arrangements by David Chase. It stars Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes and Drama Desk and OBIE Award Winner Santino Fontana as the Prince.
The cast also features Peter Bartlett, Ann Harada, Greg Hildreth, Marla Mindelle, Phumzile Sojola, Tony Award Winner Harriet Harris and Tony Award Winner Victoria Clark. Previews are now running at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd Street) in preparation for the opening on Sunday, March 3, 2013.

musical Cinderella will perform on Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14 at 8 p.m. at the Broadway Theatre (1631 Broadway at 53rd St.) During Valentine's Week, Cinderella will perform Tuesday, Feb. 12 through Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m., Saturday Feb. 16 at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
