Legendary Broadway and cabaret luminary, Lane Bradbury, was interviewed by Foster Hirsch at THE LAMBS about her storied career that included tales of Bette Davis, Tennessee Williams, Ethel Merman, Patrick Hingle, Jerome Robbins, Raymond Massie, Jack Klugman, Julie Harris, June Havoc, Christopher Plummer ... and Elia Kazan.
Ms. Bradbury held the room filled with actors and authors in rapt attention with stories of Mr. Kazan and JB; Bette Davis and Tennessee William on Night of the Iguana, and of course, Ethel Merman and Gypsy. Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe first met at the Club and teamed to make theatrical history, often trying works-in-progress on their fellow Lambs. The Lambs has been recognized by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and by Pope John Paul II. Member of The Lambs were involved in the formation of The Actors' Fund of America, ASCAP, Actors' Equity, Screen Actors Guild and SAG-AFTRA.
