The New York City Gay Men's Chorus launched its 28th season with a brand new music director and a time-honored New York tradition: The New York City Gay Men's Chorus 2007 Holiday Spectacular at Carnegie Hall on Tuesday December 11 at 8PM. Special guest stars are two-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara (The Pajama Game, The Light in the Piazza, South Pacific) and internationally acclaimed bass/baritone Robert Osborne, with a special appearance by the Third Street Music School Settlement Singers. The annual holiday concert marked the New York debut for NYCGMC's new music director Charles Beale. Beale comes to NYCGMC direct from the United Kingdom where he led the London Gay Men's Chorus for five years.
One of the most anticipated music events of the season, The New York City Gay Men's Chorus Holiday Spectacular is a highlight of the Chriskwanukah season in New York. What would the holidays be without NYCGMC! Donning their gay apparel and a healthy dose of good will towards men, NYCGMC returns to Carnegie Hall for an evening of great holiday music that will inspire you, make you laugh, and bring you great cheer. It's the most fabulous time of the year!
The New York City Gay Men's Chorus' 2007-2008 Season is made possible with the generous support of Norman Hanson.
