Tony Award-winning actress Katie Finneran delighted students as their special surprise guest during the Broadway Artists Alliance 2010 Summer Workshop. Ms. Finneran (currently starring in Promises, Promises) lent her talents for a surprise Q&A with the students of Broadway Artists Alliance. Following the Q&A, she led the group of young performers in a song interpretation session, working one-on-one with Broadway Artists Alliance students, ages 10-21.
Katie Finneran was a welcome addition to the Broadway Artists Alliance's roster of Tony winning guest speakers, which have recently included impressive talent such as Sutton Foster, Karen Olivo, Gregory Jbara, Bill Irwin, Laura Benanti, Norbert Leo Butz, Beth Leavel, Michael Cerveris, John Gallagher Jr., Lea Salonga, John Lloyd Young, and Jason Robert Brown.
The Q&A and Song Interpretation Session were part of Broadway Artists Alliance's three-day Summer Workshop at Ripley Grier Studios, NYC.
