To mark the 25th Anniversary, every Cirque du Soleil company around the world currently playing (Brazil, Lisbon, Macau, Japan, Vegas, Florida, Montreal and New York) participated last night.
The audience and complete cast of the Cirque du Soleil production KOOZA (currently playing in New York City on Randall's Island) celebrated on Tuesday evening, June 16, 2009, marking the 25th Anniversary of the Canadian-based company. Everyone in the audience was given - and is wearing - a lighted red nose.
Due to unprecedented demand for tickets, Cirque du Soleil has added the final 18 performances to the New York engagement of KOOZA. The final KOOZA performance in New York will be Sunday June 21 under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (Big Top) at Randall's Island Park.
KOOZA tickets for these final performances (June 10 thru June 21) will be available to the general public starting Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 10:00am online at cirquedusoleil.com or by calling 1 800 678-5440. They are currently available to Cirque Club members only. Membership in the Cirque Club is free and registration is quick and simple at www.cirquedusoleil.com.
