On January 8th, Jennifer Hudson stopped by "The Late Show with David Letterman" at the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
Hudson is currently nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her critically acclaimed performance as Effie Melody White in the film version of Dreamgirls; she has also garnered numerous other awards from film societies. A finalist on the third season of "American Idol," Hudson has been seen onstage in the Actors' Fund benefit concert of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
Produced by Dreamworks, directed and adapted by Condon (from Tom Eyen's book), and featuring music by Henry Krieger and lyrics by Eyen, Dreamgirls also stars Beyonce Knowles, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx and Anika Noni Rose.
