Photo Flash: Inside Gingold Theatrical Group's OTHERLAND Reading

On Monday, September 23, Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, presented Otherland by David Cote, as a part of Shaw New York 2013, the annuAl Shaw-based festival in New York City, with events now through October 13 at The Pearl Theatre Company's 555 West 42nd Street home.

Shaw New York 2013 features the rarely seen Shaw comedy, You Never Can Tell, a co-production between The Pearl Theatre Company and Gingold Theatrical Group. Directed by David Staller, You Never Can Tell runs September 3 through October 13 at the Pearl Theatre, 555 West 42nd Street.

Otherland featured Tony winners Nikki M. James and Harriet Harris, directed by David Staller. The full cast included Nikki M. James, Harriet Harris, with Jaspal Binning Jose Llana, Robin Miles, Max Gordon Moore, Michael O'Brien, Jeremy Webb.

This fascinating comedy follows a young woman determined to come to terms with a past that may or may not be true. Taking a cue from Shaw who was a theatrical critic turned playwright, all of the plays developed by GTG feature works written by arts journalists.
