Death takes a humorous turn in The Wrong Box, The Musical. A mysterious corpse is knocking about Victorian England, and two unscrupulous cousins are desperately trying to find it, except when they're desperately trying to lose it! With book and music by Kit Goldstein Grant, the staged reading will be directed by Christopher Hlinka, with musical direction by Matthew Bennis. The cast features Frank Vlastnik (Big, A Year with Frog and Toad), Daniel Plimpton (The Book of Mormon First National Tour), Morgan Smith (The Sound of Music Broadway), Robin Campbell Lounsbury, Joe Harkins (Ragtime on Ellis Island), Raul Hernandez, Melissa Rose Hirsch (The Bad Years), Andrew Holder, Evan Mayer (Annie National Tour), Angelo McDonough, Christopher Michaels, Chris Collins-Pisano, Adrian Rifat, JorDan Smith, and Kasey Yeargain.
The Wrong Box Staged Reading is produced by Sahar Helmy and Melissa nally. The reading will be presented Monday, October 3rd at 1PM and 7PM at the National Opera Center Opera America. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased here.
