Photo Flash: In Rehearsal for THE COBALTEANS at NYMF

THE COBALTEANS, a new musical featuring book and lyrics by Yianni Papadimos, music by Ben Chavez and additional music by Andrew Bridges and Yianni Papadimos, will be presented in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

One year after their friend Gabriel's death, four young men return to the lake house they grew up in. Gabriel's family has put the house up for sale and the boys have come to say goodbye. The tranquility of November on the Lake Erie coastline does not linger for long as fingers are pointed about the night of Gabriel's death and moments of silence are broken as the minds of the young men explode into song.

The cast of THE COBALTEANS will feature Andrew Bridges (In The Heights, Ogunquit's High School Musical), PJ Adzima (NYMF's Volleygirls, Gorilla Rep's A Midsummer Night's Dream), Nicholas McGovern (Point of Honor, Diner of Eden), Aleks Knezevich (title roles in Jekyll and Hyde national tour, The Guthrie's HMS Pinafore) and Alex Walton (NYMF's Fable).
