Photo Flash: Great Moments from A Class Act NY's 2016 Summer Camps

A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, is halfway through their eleventh successful summer of theatre camps taught by Broadway performers. Scroll down for a peek at some highlights so far!
Broadway and on-camera actors Monette McKay (MEMPHIS, SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK, MAMMA MIA!), Kat Nejat (WEST SIDE STORY, LYSISTRATA JONES) Lauren 'Coco' Cohn (MAMMA MIA!, ROYAL PAINS, BORED TO DEATH), Ashley Kate Adams (LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT), Jay Russell (BOARDWALK EMPIRE, UGLY BETTY) Halle Morse (MAMMA MIA!) and others like ALADDIN'S Brian Gonzales led musical theatre and on-camera camps for talented students from all over the world.
Campers learned acting technique through performing Broadway song and dance combinations and on-camera scenes in final showcases for friends, family, and in by audition only camps, invited industry guests including agents and managers. Campers participated in a variety of workshops that included stage combat, Broadway dance, on-camera technique, intro to Shakespeare, stage makeup, musical theatre audition technique, text analysis and character development, voice and speech and more.
