This past Saturday night, some of Hollywood's most talented comedians gathered at Variety's Power of Comedy Event Presented by Xbox One and benefitting The Noreen Fraser Foundation and their Men for Women Program, which uses humor to engage men to join the fight against women's cancers. The 4th annual celebration was held at The Avalon Hollywood and honored Jimmy Kimmel with Variety's Power of Comedy Award, in recognition for his remarkable contributions to comedy as the host and executive producer of the Emmy Award-winning Jimmy Kimmel Live! Additional sponsors of the event included Amazon Studios, GUINNESS, Johnnie Walker, Skype and Unite4:Good.

The VIP pre-party had guests mingling over pints of GUINNESS Draught and sampling a wide variety of Johnnie Walker Scotch whisky. Celebrities competed against each other in the green room as they tried out the Forza Motorsport 5 car racing game on the new Xbox One, which gets released on November 22. As celebrities arrived, they had the chance to write a cause they felt passionate about on a chalkboard wall and share their message through Unite4:Good. Characters in Roman soldier and zombie costumes from the Xbox One games Ryse: Son of Rome and Deadrising 3 wandered the carpet, and talent from Amazon Studios' new sitcom Betas were in attendance.
Jeff Ross hosted the festivities, Jimmy Kimmel Live! house band Cleto and the Cletones provided the jams on stage. Joel McHale and Adam Carolla took the stage to make a special toast to Jimmy as the entire audience raised a glass of Johnnie Walker Platinum Label - the blend crafted for exclusive, private gatherings. Kevin Nealon, Dana Gould, Jon Daly fromBetas, and Aziz Ansari regaled the crowd with hilarious skits. In addition to a heartwarming speech from Noreen Fraser, thousands of dollars were raised on stage. A date with Jimmy Kimmel Live's Guillermo on stage while sipping pints of GUINNESS was auctioned off, plus Paul Scheer and Adam Pally had the whole room laughing and bidding to win a signed Xbox One. When two audience members agreed to each bid $4,000 to "split" the new console, Xbox representatives quickly volunteered to auction off another, raising a total of $8,000 for the Noreen Fraser Foundation.
Ben Affleck, Sarah Silverman and Robin Williams roasted Jimmy in a few special video messages, and Adam Scottintroduced a special Skype video, which included funny well wishes from Zooey Deschanel, Rob Lowe, Sarah Silverman, Ray Romano and Robin Williams. David Spade entertained the audience, along with a funny video skit with Julie Bowen. The show finished with Will Arnett presenting the Variety Power of Comedy Award to Jimmy Kimmel. Jimmy thanked all of his friends and family for supporting him through the years, and ended the night singing a great rendition of Neil Diamond's "Heartlight."
