After wrapping up the highly-acclaimed JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT tour, which she co-starred in alongside husband Ace Young, Diana DeGarmo will lead the cast of Studio Tenn's upcoming production of THE WIZARD OF OZ in June. Below, check out a first look at the stage and AMERICAN IDOL veteran in costume, which she posted to Instagram just earlier today!

Along with the photo, DeGarmo posted: "I'm Dorothy Gale from Kansas, Y'all. @studiotenn #WizardofOzNashville#StudioTennOz"

In its season finale production, Studio Tenn embarks on one of the wildest musical adventures ever to blow up Broadway: The Wizard of Oz. Following its history-making 1939 Technicolor film debut starring Judy Garland, this colorful conjuring of L. Frank Baum's fantasy children's novel has captivated the hearts and imaginations of dreamers of all ages-including the visionaries at Studio Tenn. The company promises an all-out design extravaganza for this production, drawing from a trove of art and fashion spanning from the film's advent to the present day. Their fresh, original approach created uniquely for the stage experience will re-invigorate and elevate this true American classic with an abundance of new thrills and surprises.

DIANA DeGARMO (Narrator) From Broadway to the Hollywood Bowl, Diana is no stranger to the stage. At 16, she stole America's heart on "Idol" before becoming the first alum to star on Broadway. Starring in such shows as HAIR (where she met her husband Ace Young), 9 to 5, Brooklyn: The Musical, Hairspray and The Toxic Avenger, she then moved to Los Angeles to play the role of "Angelina," a fan favorite on the number one daytime series "The Young and the Restless." In 2008, she released an acoustic EP "Unplugged in Nashville," and recently released a Country EP "Live To Love," composed of songs co-written with husband and fellow 'IDOL' veteran, Ace Young.
