Photo Flash: First Look at CYRANO: A LOVE LETTER TO A FRIENDSHIP at FringeNYC

Grind Arts Company is proud to present CYRANO: A LOVE LETTER TO A FRIENDSHIP, a new play by Sean Peter Drohan, featuring Sean Peter Drohan ("Who WantsTo Be A Millionaire"), Judah Frank (Rock of Ages - Tour, Broadway Bares) and Adam Roberts (Pippin, Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, Broadway Bares)and directed by Eamon Foley (Gypsy, Assassins, Broadway Bares ), as part of the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC. A play about insecurity, ugliness, and butt-sex, Cyrano: a love letter to a friendship is the story of two best friends whose world is shaken by the sudden arrival of a handsome stranger. Updated from the classic play by Edmond Rostand, this reimagining finds the titular Cyrano and his best friend, the beautiful Christian, as roommates in contemporary New York City. When Christian begins dating the brilliant and beautiful Rock, he asks for Cyrano's help, but at what cost to their friendship? For more information, visit www.cyranotheplay.com.

Director Eamon Foley is the founder and artistic director of Grind Arts Company. Eamon made his Broadway debut in the 2003 Sam Mendes production of Gypsy, at age nine, and became the second-youngest person in history to win Broadway's historical Gypsy Robe. His other Broadway credits include Assassins, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, andEveryday Rapture. His choreography can be seen in Broadway Bares XXVI and Michael Arden's upcoming production of Merrily We Roll Along at the Wallis Theater in Beverly Hills. He graduated Princeton University in 2015 with a BA in Anthropology, the Francis LeMoyne Paige Theater Award, the Senior Thesis Award, and the Santos Dumont Prize for Innovation.

Sean Peter Drohan is a playwright and actor based in New York City. He was a recent contestant on ABC's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire." This production is financed, in part, by his winnings of $50,000. He graduated from Princeton University in 2014 with a degree in English, Theater and Performance Studies, the Frances LeMoyne Paige Theater Award, and the Alex Adam '07 Award.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rider University, Judah Frank joined the Broadway cast of Cirque Dreams: Jungle Fantasy. Judah went on to appear the National Tours of Rock of Ages, Smokey Joe's Cafe and Show 'N Tell. His first on-camera roles include the 2010 feature film "The One" (Fox Meadow Films).

Adam Roberts received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Coastal Carolina University. He made his Broadway debut in Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. Adam has also been seen inPippin on Broadway, the National tour of Dirty Dancing, Off Broadway in Standard Timeand harmonizing with his own singing group, Apollo Link. He most recently finished co-directing and choreographing Broadway Backwards.

The production opens on Monday, August 15th at 7:00 pm and runs Thursday, August 18th at 3:45 pm, Monday August 22nd at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 25th at 6:30 pm, Saturday, August 27th at 9:30 pm. at SoHo Playhouse located at 15 Vandam St, New York, NY.
