Photo Flash: Embracing the Silence! FUN HOME Cast Joins NOH8 Campaign

The cast of FUN HOME just unveiled a beautiful NOH8 cast shot on Instagram, and we can't stop marveling at how amazing they look. Check it out below! The photo is captioned, "We're proud to join the@noh8campaign family!"

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protestcreated by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in direct response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek in protest.

With music by Tony Award-winner Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Lisa Kron and direction by Tony Award-winner Sam Gold, Fun Home opened at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, April 19, 2015, and recently won five 2015 Tony Awards.

Featuring a cast led by 2015 Tony Award-winner Michael Cerveris, as well as 2015 Tony Award nominees Judy Kuhn, Beth Malone, Sydney Lucas and Emily Skeggs, Fun Home also features Roberta Colindrez, Zell Steele Morrow, Joel Perez, Oscar Williams, Lauren Patten, Gabriella Pizzolo, Marrick Smith, Jim Stanek, and Nicole Van Giesen.

Fun Home introduces us to Alison at three different ages, revealing memories of her uniquely dysfunctional family - her mother, brothers and volatile, brilliant, enigmatic father - that connect with her in surprising new ways. This intimate and emotional theatrical experience is performed entirely in the round, bringing audiences closer to Alison's story than ever before. A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.

A coast-to-coast North American Tour of Fun Home will begin in the 2016-17 Season.
